Well, I just finished uploading my first trance creation to Newgrounds.com's Audio Portal, and I am very excited to see how that community receives it. With the purchase of my new Mac, I've been trying to play around with it's audio capabilities, so this is simply just a test of what I can do with it.
One the most debated topics today is the issue of Net Neutrality. With Comcast Suing the FCC, many people have become very outspoken on the issue, and I decided that I would give my thoughts.
Unfortunately, I have been incredibly busy this past week, and have not had any opportunities to make a blog post about my brand new Mac. I ended up getting the black MacBook, and have been using it avidly since the day I bought it.
Unfortunately, when I went to copy the website over to the new server, the database got lost. This means that all my old posts are gone for good, and I won't be able to load them back in. As much as this sucks, it will give me a chance to publish some fresh content and get a new start with the tagging system I developed. I don't believe I have worked that out for the RSS feeds yet though.
After doing some server reconfiguration, Ampedesign is going to be back up and running. I finally made the swtich from Windows over to Linux, and I must say that I am very impressed. I have been using Ubuntu Linux and I haven't looked back since. Much of the server configuration has been much easier than on Windows, not to mention no viruses!
